and Celebration

| The
Bomaye Company produced an evening with two intimate events.
The first was a solemn Swearing-in Ceremony to welcome Villaraigosa
into his first term as City Councilmember for Council District
14. The talented fourteen-year-old Estefania Rivera performed
the National Anthem, Theodore Roosevelt High School served as
honor guards, NBC4's David Cruz as Master of Ceremonies, the
Legendary Ward Singers as gospel Choir and family priest, Father
Moreno performed the Swearing-in. The second event was a celebration
to acknowledge the commitment from thousands of his supporters.
The evening featured a 14-piece Latin Salsa Ensemble, a Mariachi
group, and six culturally-diverse cuisines. |
