The 2002 Raise Summit was an interactive daylong summit dedicated to promoting the sustainability and growth of Los Angeles nonprofit and community-based organizations. Courses held throughout the day left participants with hands-on working tools, which they can apply to their own organizational growth. The integral nonprofit components of fundraising and capacity building were highlighted and interviews with community-leaders and feedback from experts in nonprofit education and management guided content of working sessions and discussions for the day.
