| The
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power is sponsored the Third
Annual Run for a Green LA road and trail races and environmental
expo. The race promotes LADWP's Green LA environmental initiatives
including Green Power, Solar Energy, Energy Conservation, Electric
Transportation, Water Conservation, Green Education, Tree Planting,
and Recycling Programs. They aim to replace electricity from
polluting power plants with energy generated by renewable resources,
like the sun, wind and water. |
